Accupressure bands

You might see these advertised as biobands, sea bands, or other names.

The idea behind the band is based on the ancient Chinese principle of acupressure – effectively acupuncture without needles! Accupressure is a safe, drug-free, effective way to prevent and ease the nausea associated with morning sickness. The band is snug–not tight–and has a plastic node on it. You put the band on your wrists with the node on the inside. The band and node are applying continuous pressure on a particular point on the wrist (the P6 or Nei-Kuan point). It takes 4-5 minutes to become effective and continues to be effective as long as it is worn
